Little Love Buns Cloth Diaper Detergent

I’ve been cloth diapering my son exclusively since he was 2 months old.  The detergent I’m forced to use for washing his diapers is boring and it’s scentless too. I was forced to use scentless detergent when washing is cloth diapers because at a young age he was diagnosed with eczema. Now that he was kind of outgrown it I can explore other cloth diaper detergent options. I was recently sent a sample of Little Love Buns cloth diaper detergent to review and I’m excited to share with you all just how much I love it. Little Love Buns is an eco-friendly, mom owned diapering store with a mission to create good-for-the-earth methods of cleaning.

I received the 46/96 load regular bag in Sweet Pea. I was a little worried to try a scented detergent, mainly due to my son’s sensitive skin. I was happily surprised that the detergent didn’t irritate his skin at all. It turns out that the mom owner of Little Love Buns has a child with sensitive skin so she made sure to come with a detergent where the ingredients blended together well as to not irritate her child’s skin.

I throughly enjoyed the delicate scent of Sweet Pea, it’s not overly strong. I’m curious to find out what some of the other scents smell like.  I always pre-soak the heavily soiled diapers before washing. I have a front load HE washer machine, as do most of us these days. All I had to do was remove the tray inside the soap station. I used the recommended amount of detergent. I did a normal cycle with hot water then I ran the diapers through again on the Baby Cycle.

I really enjoyed using this detergent, it worked well, didn’t cause my son’s eczema to flare up, and the smell was delightful. I think I’ll order some cloth wipes soon. I’ve always wanted to try those. I’m so sick of buying wipes, plus, it wouldn’t be that much more work. I already wash a load of cloth diapers every night. I really like that Little Love Buns is a company started by a mom with an eco-friendly take on detergent and other diapering essentials.
