The Catalyst 3-n-1 Modular Stroller from Combi is an excellent stroller. It offers multiple configurations for parent and child. The Catalyst can be used as a bassinet stroller, travel system or toddler stroller. We’ve reviewed our fair share of strollers in the past but this Combi stroller has got to be the best, by far. I’m 110% impressed with it and look forward to each time we get to use it. We go on more walks around the neighborhood now and when we are out shopping it seems as if the baby is more comfortable, in turn, we get to spend more time out having family fun time.
The Catalyst is available in red, blue, black, and graphite (buybuy baby exclusive). The feature list on this stroller is astounding, very impressive.
One of my favorite features without a doubt is the all-wheel suspension, when I say this stroller glides, I mean it. The one-step brake is a great feature too. This stroller is very user-friendly and fun to use, it turns on a dime. This stroller get the looks. I’ve seen people turn to check out the stroller. The handle of the stroller can be extended, this works great when my brother is pushing the baby around, he’s so tall, with this stroller he does not need to be hunched over.
The Catalyst 3-n-1 Modular Stroller from Combi has the ease of us of a traditional umbrella stroller but the comfort and space of a larger stroller. Since the baby is more comfortable in this stroller I find he’s less irratable and can sit for longer periods of time.
The one thing this stroller is missing is a drink holder. Also, the front bar is tough to get off. Most of the time I leave it in place because I can’t get it off myself. I kind of wish the bar pivoted so I could easily get the baby in and out.
The Shuttle car set is not included with the Catalyst but I was sent one in addition to try. Since the stroller comes with an infant seat adapter I can easily use The Shuttle with the Cataylst system. Very rarely do I pull the car seat out of the car these days. Most of the time I keep my stroller set up for a toddler. I would have used this entire system when the baby was smaller. Currently the baby uses The Shuttle but I take him out and the car seat just stay in the car.
My baby fits comfortably in The Shuttle, he is snug and secure and I really like the added safety bar. Baby Sean is 14 months and I still have him rear facing in the car. I can use this car set until he’s 35lbs.
